We are dedicated to building a community of student ministry leaders that sharpen one another in personal CHARACTER and professional SKILLS. Utilizing a variety of resources, programs and training we offer experienced leadership and best practices to youth leaders and spouses, students, staff, and volunteers.
Leadership is critical. As I leader I must stay sharp and grow in my leadership skills. LEAD222 provides all of this and more. There are so many options for leaders today to grow such as great books to read and excellent conferences to attend. Most of them are great tools and very useful. LEAD222 takes these tools to the next level by creating a context to grow in Authentic Community. I value the relationships in Lead 222 as much as the excellent training opportunities. The mentoring and coaching provided by LEAD222 will change youth culture!

“One of the things I love most about being a part of LEAD is the fact that I am cared for as a person, not just a youth minister. LEAD is made up of followers of Christ who are just as concerned with who I am as a man of God, husband and father as who I am as a youth pastor. I love being sharpened and challenged in my ministry to students, but I appreciate even more being sharpened as a follower of Christ and being lovingly challenged to be a man of integrity!

“When I entered my first season with LEAD222, I was burned out and ready to quit. I entered LEAD with a dose of skepticism and apprehension. However, the first SolWatch I went on with my wife was a huge turning point for me. I came away personally refreshed and with a renewed sense of “I can do this!” It was the first time in 15 years of ministry where I felt like my wife was being rewarded for my ministry rather than sacrificing yet again for it. Since then, I have been involved in four great Servant Leadership trips that have greatly impacted our students. I have built some great friendships that have been a real blessing and encouragement to me and have been exposed to some great opportunities and people that I would never have crossed paths with otherwise. There has been nothing but good fruit from my involvement with Lead and I am really grateful.”

How great is it to be connected with a group of veteran youth workers whose desire is to mentor and disciple the next generation? Most youth workers would love to have someone in their life, but don’t know where to find that person.Where else can you find someone who has been doing youth ministry longer than you, who is willing to pour into you? LEAD222 is full of those kinds of people. I’m all in.

In 20 years of youth ministry, no single organization has spoken more into my life and helped me develop more as a leader than LEAD222. From the moment I became a part of the community of LEAD, I felt a bond and friendship that is rare in ministry. My heart to invest into the next generation of leaders and LEAD222’s vision to shift the culture of student ministry were a natural fit and together, I know that we are making a difference around the world.
