An invitation to join the LEAD222 community to reach a generation for Christ.
LEAD222 is not a program, methodology or next thing to try. We are a non-for-profit ministry, focused on spiritual transformation — emulating what Jesus modeled for His followers to live and to reproduce in others. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put into practice.” (Phil. 4:9)

The question we must answer is “How can middle school and high school students put in to practice what they have not seen?”

Our vision at LEAD222 is to change youth ministry culture by leading communities of youth workers where coaching and mentoring is put into practice — where it is normal for youth leaders to have a personal coach in their lives, and then reproduce that value in the lives of students in youth ministries around the world.

2 Timothy 2:2 – “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”

We believe if youth leaders commit to living a lifestyle of having a mentor in their lives and then lead and mentor students we will change youth ministry culture. Change youth ministry culture, reach a generation. Reach a generation, change the world.

For this to happen youth ministry culture needs to change, because the truth is we are are losing a generation.

Here’s why:
-40-50% of students will drift away from their relationship with God, 18 months after graduation.
-6 out of 7 seniors said they did not feel equipped with a strong faith that would prepare them for college.
-When asked what it meant to be a Christian, 1/3 of the students surveyed did not mention Jesus in their definition.
-Students said that a set of rules and guilt are mostly associated with being a Christ follower.

This must change. Coaching and mentoring are needed around the world, yet many churches cannot afford the training that our ministry provides. With your support, this essential training and mentoring for youth ministry leaders and their students, regardless of their financial restraints, can be met.
