Dave Choutka is the director of student ministries and high school pastor at Northview Church in Carmel, Indiana. He has 14 years exprience in youth ministry in both large and small churches and has held roles in both junior high and high school ministry. His passion in ministry is to equip students to embrace their own faith and use their gifts to serve in and outside the church. In 2002 he co-founded 14:6 Ministries, a curriculum company that specializes in providing youth ministry curriculum for youth workers. He saw through his own experiences that many times youth workers spent more time planning lessons and events than with their students. Dave graduated from Ozark Christian College in 1999. He is an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan, loves playing any type of sport, and was saddened when the show “24” came to an end. He and his wife, Dawn, have three awesome kids, Jackson, Avery, and Mya.

The founder of The Emerging Network in Toronto Canada and a ghost writer for one of North America’s prominent youth/media speakers, Adam B.R. Clarke daily parallels his career to his life as he believes that what you do should relate to who you are – especially in youth ministry. Adam enjoys challenging those around him to not only perceive media and our influences but to critically look at the heart of it and choose based upon our call as Christians. This challenge is the basis for the Underestimated forum www.underestimated.ca , a networking opportunity to build the Jr. High community within Canada.
Life is about passion for Adam – for family, for friends, and for those who need a hand. He volunteers with different ministries by lending vision, training, and help to where it is needed most. In his spare time or even during his work day, you can typically find him sitting in a Starbucks café with a coffee and a good book, or even writing his latest message or blog post.
Married in 2009 to his wife, Amy McPhail Clarke, they currently reside in Uptown Toronto where they can walk for a coffee – or even a cupcake and tea date. They chose this neighborhood as it is easily accessible for youth to reach by subway and know that they are impacting their neighbors and surrounding businesses by living in the heart of the city. www.theemergingnetwork.com.
